Quickening

Easter - a reminder of life, real life, new life, life after death, life impossible and amazing. It seemed perfectly fitting then to feel new life on Easter evening as I lay in bed.

"Jesus arose! He came out of the cave!" Elijah said so many times this week. His answer to my prompting was a sweet reminder of the excitement that Easter should bring. Christ is risen! Life has come! Our lives are given purpose.

At 15 weeks and 2 days, little man celebrated his first Easter by leaping...and this Momma rejoiced too.

Hey Lydia,

That's so exciting! Wow- 15 weeks already. That went by really quickly for me :) So you guys know it's a boy already? I don't know if you got my voicemail (or maybe I sent a text) but we matched in Chicago so we'll be staying here for the next 5 years. We are currently apartment hunting, but once we move, you guys should come visit us! (I'll let you know our moving date then you can come visit us 2 days later and return the favor- ha!)
