Breakfast then SNOW!
We had our fair share of snow this year thanks to the global warming crisis. Before we braved the white stuff, we stocked up on protein.
Polly Jane admired her siblings eating skills.
Haven found it hard to take a break from her beloved meal.
Finally - the snow!
Learning to use our new sled was a fun challenge.

Polly Jane was not especially thrilled with being put down in a pile of coldness.
Oh, but the sibling shot was totally worth it, don't you think?
Everyone's favorite part about the snow was eating it~;-)

Sweet baby!

Sleep Tight
Reading can really wear a girl out.
This chubby girl gets to stay up later than the other children. A girl has to achieve her calorie goals for the day.
Sweet boy sleeps with socks on his hands. This night it was to allow the Eucerin cream to soak in; at other times it is to keep fingers away from his mouth!

Schooling?
Yesterday I went to a homeschool curriculum fair. I am totally overwhelmed by what I feel God has called us to undertake in the coming years. I like to think of it as a trial run, similar to what we did with the cow last year and are doing with our small brood of chickens this year. The reality, however, is that the stakes are much higher.
This post by my favorite blogger, Ann Voskamp, I found encouraging/stimulating/daunting/exciting.
Prayers for this scared Momma are appreciated.
