Kitchen Help

Bonfire at the Edwardses'

**Grammar Update: After looking in two grammar books and much discussion, Laura Jackson and I have done our best to educate ourselves on the use of the apostrophe.
Sandra's House - make a singular noun possesive - add 's
Sandra Edwards's House - make a singular noun ending in s possessive - add 's
Sandra & Walter Edwardses' House - make a plural noun ending in s possessive - add es'
Further: The Graveses' children are super adorable. {My "es'" addition lets you, the reader, know that this sentence refers to two Graves - in this case, Eric & Lydia.) Corrections or comments will be MOST welcome!**

The annual bonfire at Sandra & Walter's is one of my favorite Fall activities. This sweet girl's Momma neglected to dress her appropriately though. Thankfully, someone volunteered their own child's hat.Don't you just want to kiss this face?*Could someone please correct my apostrophe use in the title, if needed?

Sweet Girls & Sweet Treats

This first picture I had to post because that pizza looks SO GOOD. Mmmm. I believe it was one of my last batches of homemade for the year.Haven enjoying finger foods - peas! My little friend, Ava. Perfect!Ava and Jacey:In case the kids didn't have enough cookie dough, we all ate a cooked cookie outside.Come play again sweet girls!

Party Like a Pumpkin

Luke invited us to this fabulous party! Haven the ladybug, Luke the pumpkin, and Elijah the bear - all SO CUTE!
*I've included this picture as proof that my dog stories are true.* Grammie & Angel - matching bumblebee outfits: Laura's laugh makes this picture great. Sorry about your poor gaming skills, Matt. *Another proof* I'm not sure if Grampa was trying to mimic Haven's face here, but he did a great job. One of Luke's rare aggressive moments: Luke's other grandparents - do you see Luke's big smile? Matt is a knight and Laura is dressed as...Jasie. Jasie is dressed as a pumpkin...like Luke. It's the circle of life...
Does anyone remember this dress? Anyone? Anyone from 8th grade?Laura and Matt had all these fun games for us to play - even Elijah was able to participate. Thanks for inviting us guys; it was super fun!

Saying Goodnight

Saying goodnight - appropriate (and fun!) anywhere dear Daddy is!

Haven's First Lingerie Shower

It is such a joy to get to partake of a friend's walk towards marriage. Marie, my grad-school roommate and best Vandi friend, tied the knot in October. A few of her friends came into town early to celebrate...and Marie invited Haven to her party!Congratulations Marie & Kevin Sample! We love you guys!!!

Working the Days Away

Daddy and Elijah built this ramp so they could race cars down it. Elijah is teaching Haven to love books.

Cutting (coupons) is always a favorite activity.

Chewing. Somebody has got to do it.
Checking out my drugstore deals.
Grammie even let Elijah help clean the windows!

Busy working days. "Bye Momma. I'm going to work. Like Daddy. Love you! Bye!"
