Oatmeal

Unless Daddy is cooking, Elijah eats oatmeal for breakfast every mornning. I put a little bit of applesauce in it as a sweetener. He is just learning to use a spoon and is a very enthusiastic learner. [Read: BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!] He is also learning to use a fork, but usually asks me to stab the food for him. He'll just hold his fork out and say "Muh? Muh?" in a little high-pitched voice. This, as Larissa noted, is "his sound" and is used whenever he wants something. Mom was on the phone with me the other day and kept laughing at Elijah's constant requests.

I'm glad that, for now, he wants me involved in everything he does.
